Youth FX centers community and inter-generational learning as a pathway to leadership, creativity, and technological resources for young people between the ages of 10-25, who have been historically underserved in film and digital media spaces.
In a strong period of growth, Youth FX is recruiting new board members with professional skills in Finance and Development to build new futures for emerging fiction and non-fiction storytellers. As a robust, dynamic non-profit organization based in Albany, NY, the Youth FX Board offers you the opportunity to work in a leadership role with other Board Members who are educators, business owners, and digital media professionals.
A national and international organization, Board Members meet quarterly on a remote basis and in-person annually. Supported by public and private institutions, funders include the Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Perspective Fund and the NY State Council on the Arts. Established in 2008, award winning Youth FX films have screened at major film festivals across the country; TriBeCa Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, San Francisco Film Festival, Harlem International Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival and Chicago International Film Festival.
Youth FX is seeking skills in two positions, Finance and Development, recruiting individuals who enjoy building a strategic approach to sound fiscal management, benefiting young people in advancing their creativity in media careers.
