For the past 17 years we have inspired, empowered and taught hundreds of young people in Albany, NY and across the country to utilize the power of filmmaking to tell their stories.  Our programs have always been FREE of charge and we need YOUR support to continue our mission of keeping these opportunities accessible to young people in our city who need them most!

Youth FX is designed to empower young people ages 10-25 by teaching them the creative, technical and collaborative aspects of filmmaking and digital media production.  Since 2008 we’ve built community and worked with thousands of young people throughout the capital region, across the country and around the world, to help them express themselves and tell their stories through the power of the moving image.
